International Women's Day Challenge a Huge Success

Concept2's International Women's Day Challenge on March 8 was a big success, all thanks to you!

This year we saw huge growth in participation from just over 4000 people in 2023 to well over 6000 participants in 2024. We smashed our goal of raising $15,000, and will split it between Women’s Sports Foundation and WomenSport International—two organizations that work to empower women and girls through sport and raise awareness for equality. Participants completed exactly 5000 metres on the Concept2 RowErg or SkiErg (or rode 10,000m on the BikeErg) on International Women's Day.

As a lead up to International Women's Day, we were excited to shine a spotlight on the women of the US National Rowing team (@womenintheboat) as they chase their dreams to qualify for the Paris Olympics. They are amazing! Have a look at what motivates them to be the best they can be in sport and in life. Spoiler alert: It's not just one person or even a few people, but the entire team that raises each other up and fuels the desire to work harder, be better athletes, and the best people they can be.
